We invite submissions for oral presentations on any aspect of dialectal variation in Spanish within the domains of formal morphology and syntax, considering both diachronic and synchronic approaches.

Use of Digital Resources

Proposals that make use of online resources and digital corpora for the study of dialectal variation will be especially welcome, such as (non-exhaustive list):

• ASinEs
• ALPI
• PRESEEA
• CORPES XXI
• COSER
• Online dialect atlases and repositories
• Computational tools applied to dialect data

This focus reflects the growing relevance of open and reproducible data in contemporary dialectological research.

Special Thematic Panel

The conference will include a special panel dedicated to the role of dialectal variation in secondary education and high school. Abstracts are welcome on, among other topics:

• The treatment of dialectal variation in the classroom
• Teaching materials and curriculum
• Language attitudes and dialect diversity
• Transfer of dialectological knowledge to teaching
• Pedagogical proposals based on real variation data.
