We invite submissions for oral presentations on any aspect of dialectal variation in Spanish within the domains of formal morphology and syntax, considering both diachronic and synchronic approaches.
Proposals that make use of online resources and digital corpora for the study of dialectal variation will be especially welcome, such as (non-exhaustive list):
This focus reflects the growing relevance of open and reproducible data in contemporary dialectological research.
The conference will include a special panel dedicated to the role of dialectal variation in secondary education and high school. Abstracts are welcome on, among other topics:
We invite submissions for 40-minute presentations (30 minutes talk + 10 minutes discussion). Proposals must be anonymous and should be sent in PDF format to: spadisyn@gmail.com
Abstracts must be written in Times New Roman 12, single-spaced, with 2.5 cm margins, and must not exceed two pages, including examples and references. Each author may submit one single authored abstract and one co-authored abstract, or two co-authored abstracts
